Grid Warp

A precise dot grid that bends around the pointer, a small study in displacement and falloff.

A regular grid bends around the pointer and springs back, with the effect fading with distance. Grids are the backbone of most identity systems, and this tests how far a structure can flex before it stops reading as one. It’s a starting point for generative layouts and brand patterns.
